Quilled Hairclips!

Hi Everybody!!
Howz it going??? I hope this would be the last time I say this, but sorry for the delay but my damn computer with its damn internet connection and my damn laziness...(too many damns!) Whatever!! let it be!

so, I made these hair clips day before yesterday! And here they go!!

The Butterfly: The first hair-clip I made! I added a pretty orange butterfly on top of it. And btw, this isn't me.She is my very sweet neighbor doing her second grade who agreed to come here for this pic!!

The purple flower: In this hair clip I just added a small simple purple coloured flower...I wanted to make a pair for this...but I ran out of quilling paper!!

The neons:  I made a tight coil with neon pink and green strips!! I feel it looks amazing!!

The red people: The two other simple red clips I made...

TUTORIAL!!

Step 1: Get hariclips! Experiment with many shapes, sizes, colours etc!

Step 2:  This is the most fun step of all!! Let out your creativity and experiment with many designs!! Quill it...and don't forget to stick the ends!!!

Step 3: Stick your quilled shape to the hair clip using a hot glue gun, nothing else works!! I tried with fevicol, but after it dried I opened the clip and my butterfly started flying! I also tried fevicryl handicraft glue and the craft glue by fevicol. nothing worked! I am not very sure about superglue,  I think it would work. And don't forget to let it dry 100%

Step 5: And thats it!! You are done with your hairclip!!!

If you like these hairclips and the tutorial definitely give it a +1! I will try my best to post 4-5 times a week!!Next time I will come up with something new!
Don't forget to let me know which is your favorite hairclip 1,2,3, 4 or 5! And if you have not yet liked my facebook page or my g+ I have the links down here

Bye for now!!!

Quilled Bracelets!!! 10th post!

Hello Everybody!!!
i just quilled the flower in d middle so that they look pretty for that pic
Sorry for the post delay!, In the last few days I have been into making quilled bracelets...Usually if i quill any jewellery I would ask Mr.Google for samples...But this time I have made it all on my own!!(Proud Girl!) SO here they go!!

1. The multicolored marquises : My first ever try to make a bracelet and It is multicolored: mint green, dark pink, soft pink, vermilion red, light grey..(the colors look so different in the pic!!)

2.The coral One: Looks pretty!! but yet again =( the color is a coral-y orange and my cam changed it peach!!

3.The charm bracelet: This is a blue bracelet with 2 orange flowers! It would look pretty on toddlers!! And it is my personal FAVOURITE!!!(no. I am not a toddler...I am sure.) It complements so much to my nail polish!(I have a big obsession with nailp0lishes too!)

How I made them:

1. Quill the rings or marquises in what colour or shape you want. I needed about 8 of them for my hand
2. Attach the jump rings to them and crimp them shut.
3. Now attach your flowers or charms with the same kind of jump rings.                                        4.And at the end attach the jewellery S hooks.     5. And Voila!  We are finished!

If you do like this post, Definitely give it a +1! I will try my very best to post at least 4-5 times a week!!

Bye for now!!

These look really pretty on your door and will be good gifts too...here are the pictures of a few:

 2. nameless! : This is your perfect earring for the spring though it reminds me of christmas!

3. the double colored teardrop: it is made of a pastel pink and a mint green...it looks like a single petal from a quilled Malaysian flower.

4. The purple mania(silly name again): It is a purple flower...nothing else to say about it or nothing so great about it..just that the color looks different in the pic...
